---- Chapter 7 Dean drove back hurriedly, only to find a large crowd gathered at the entrance. They were in fervent discussion. "Why are there suddenly so many luxury cars parked outside? Could it be that Mr. Moore has guests who haven't arrived yet?" "Those license plates look familiar." The crowd was inexplicably chaotic, and Dean frowned as he looked at those luxury cars. Such a grand display was rare, and only a few in Bexwell could do that. He pushed his way through the crowd with a stern expression. Then he spotted Eliana standing quite close to another man. "The wedding has to be paused. You still owe me something," Eliana said. Dean fixed his gaze on Eliana and furrowed his eyebrows tightly. "Eliana, what are you doing?" Dean thought he had been so anxious looking for her a moment ago, but she was so close to another guy. Eliana chuckled softly. "Don't be nervous. | just want to get back the wedding dress | designed. After all, | never agreed to ---- lend it to anyone else." The guests that day were all prominent figures in Bexwell. They were pointing fingers at Dean at that moment, and he felt humiliated. He quickly walked over to Eliana and said through gritted teeth, "It is my wedding with Erin today. Can you stop making a scene? Besides, you ruined Erin's wedding dress before. Isn't it only right for you to compensate her with yours? Be good! We won't be getting married today anyway. I'll make sure you get something even better when we get married the other day." Just as he finished speaking, the guy next to Eliana, Asher Barton, reached out and pulled Eliana into his arms. "Eliana is not marrying you today, but me." He laughed loudly and casually pulled a party popper. Green streamers instantly adorned Dean's head. Asher said lazily, "Oops, | accidentally picked the green one. But it suits you quite well, as you are cheated on by the woman next to you." Eliana couldn't hold back and burst into laughter. Dean pulled a long face and ripped the streamers off his head. He glared at Eliana and Asher, who were so close in front of him. "Eliana, you promised to postpone the wedding with me back then. What are you doing now?" ---- Asher grabbed Dean's shoulder and kicked him in the knees. Dean was forced to get down on his knees at Asher's feet. "You took my fiancée's wedding dress, locked her away in a dark room, and tormented her. "Do you have a death wish? Hmm?" Eliana tugged at Asher's sleeve. She had rushed to Dean's wedding in immense pain merely because she didn't want the wedding dress she designed to be disgraced by Erin. Asher looked up and looked at Erin, who stood nearby, shaken in fear. She looked at Asher, who looked so dominating. Her heart bounded heavily. Asher's cruel voice exploded in her ear the next moment. "Which one do you want? Do you want your life, or do you immediately take off the wedding dress?" Erin was taken aback. She had never imagined that the charming guy in front of her was so ruthless. Asher continued, "Neither? Then you get neither." With a mere glance from him, several bodyguards rushed forward to strip Erin of the wedding dress. At the last moment, before she was exposed, Dean broke free ---- and draped his suit jacket over her. Erin had narrowly escaped and huddled in Dean's arms. She was trembling with fear. With two fingers, Eliana held the wedding dress handed to her by the respectful bodyguards. She took a lighter from Asher's pocket, and the flames swiftly consumed the dress. Asher shielded Eliana and took a few steps back. "Erin, as | told you, you cannot pick up anything of mine, even if it's trash | don't want." With that, Eliana fainted in Asher's arms. Without hesitation, Asher took Eliana away. The perfect wedding turned into a farce. Erin cried uncontrollably, and Dean was not in a good mood. He frowned and stared at the door without blinking. He impatiently checked his watch. It was already eight o'clock in the evening, and Eliana hadn't come home. Suddenly, the door opened from the outside, and Dean turned ---- his head instantly. It was Mary, the servant. She returned after taking out the trash. In the tense atmosphere, she asked cautiously, "Mr. Moore, has Mrs. Moore moved out? It seems like all her things are gone." Eliana had a hanging plant on the balcony of the master bedroom. She had asked Mary to water it weekly. But the plant, along with Eliana's luggage, had disappeared today. "Did Eliana move out?" Dean hurried upstairs, only to find that the once cluttered dressing table was now empty. It was covered in a thin layer of dust. The wardrobe was half empty and held only his clothes. Even Eliana's slippers were gone. Erin felt a surge of joy. But she forced a few tears. "She dared humiliate me in front of so many people today. She must have planned to leave long ago. | don't know where she found that toy boy. It's utterly despicable." ---- Dean unconsciously clenched his fists as he remembered the arrogant man at the wedding. "Richard, I've sent you the photo. Help me find out who that guy is." Dean had to find out just who that formidable opponent was. After doing everything, Dean seemed not to vent his anger completely. He directly changed the entry code on the front gate. "If she chooses not to come back, then let her stay away forever. No one is allowed to open the gate for her tonight." Dean didn't notice that Erin's face broke into a victorious smile after he went to the study. Amy squeezed her hand and asked cautiously, "Can we stay with Daddy forever?" Erin patted Amy's head with satisfaction. "Of course, we can. You did great." Amy cheered excitedly and rushed into the study to see Dean. Shortly after, Erin's phone rang. She glanced towards the study and quietly went to the balcony. ---- "Erin, now that Eliana is gone and you've married Dean, how "If you keep pretending, he'll eventually get suspicious. If he finds will you tell him that you pretended to have Alzheimer': out he was deceived, we'll both be doomed." Erin sneered disdainfully, "Why are you afraid? I'll go to your place for another check-up soon. Then | will tell him that the previous results are wrong. Even medical tests sometimes yield errors in a large hospital, let alone your workshop." "But..." "No buts. Hurry and send me the contract | left at your place last time. It is the best chance to trick him into signing it today."
