Chapter 9 Chapter Nine : Hello Little One Jayden POV : Kiki , our mate , had an adorable name just like herself . She was bsolutely beautiful ; I couldn't even imagine how gorgenus she would be when she was fully matured . She would have wolves salivating after her ; her shoulder - length blonde hair , her chubby red cheeks and those turquoise blue eyes had me head ever heels just by one look . She was perfect , though it would be a while till she could fully be our mate and Lam , but was sure the goddess had some reason for it . It was definitely a shock when I first laid eyes on our little one but fuck , if I wasn't already smitten by her . We would have our hands full with her growing up ; as selfish as it sounded , I didn'think Kayden or me would be able to see her date other guys ; my thought process was broken when I realized something and whipped my head at Kayden's direction , who was putting on the pair of joggers and shirt we found in the tree stump nearby . " Bro , our mate is a pup , a pup … " before I could finish , I heard Kayden snarl at me and flash me his wolf eyes , fuck , what was that about ? Before I could ask , he snarled . " So what ? She's ours . We'll wait for her . " He said . Oh shit ! He totally misunderstood me . Dude , don't get your panties on fire and let me finish . She can be more than nine years old , and she's probably here for the coronation tomorrow , which means she'll be leaving the latest day after tomorrow . " I said ; realization flashed in Kayden's eyes as he swore out loud . Once our wolves had scented and found their mate , they wouldn't be able to live without them close by . It would fuck with not only their heads but ours as well . We might even get aggressive if our little kiki wasn't close by . Fuck ! This just got way more complicated . She was too young to live without her family , and goddess knows which pack she was from and if her pack was even in their multiverse and not earth . " Fuck ! That totally slipped my mind . Don't stress over it too much ; I'm sure mom and dad can help us figure something out to keep her close . From the looks of it , she's smart ; maybe we could get here to stay under the scholar scholarship in the castle . " He said " I don't know , dude ! But we need to make sure she stays back . We'll go feral without her since our wolves have scented and formed the bond with her . " I said . Kayden just nodded and rubbed his hands down his face ; he was stressed , and so was I. The stress and tension of becoming co - kings was long gone , and replaced with how to keep our little kiki close to us now . Let's just hope her parents aren't that hard to deal with . If push comes to shove , we would have to tell them their daughter was our mate , and they had to understand then , and if that didn't even work , we would just have to command them using our aura , which I didn't want to do , I didn't need to piss off my future in - laws ahead of time . But , I doubt any parents would be happy to know their nine - year - old pup ; future mates want her to stay close to them . When fated mates meet , regardless of age , if one of the mates is eighteen or over , their wolves can bond with their potential mate - making it really hard to be without their mate then . It wasn't in our control ; it was a wolf thing . And that was what happened when our wolves and our little kiki made eye contact , and her alluring scent of honey and roses had hit us . We were both broken out of our thoughts when heard Rex call out to us ; quickly putting on my clothes ; Kayden and I walked out from behind the tree and came face to face with our mate , Rex and the other pup that had his finger interlaced with our mate . It took everything in us not to growl out at that pup . But we kept it in ; they were pups and , from the looks of it , very close , probably even best friends . It was harmless , but our wolves , mine and Kayden's , weren't that undertsnading . Pushing them both to the back of our minds , we went towards them , and before we could even open our mouths , our little mate , letting go of the pup's hand , jolted towards us with a big smile on her face and bowed .
