The following week had been a crazy flurry of final paperworks , meetings , deadlines and what not. To top it off , I had to finish my packing which I hadn't really finished till now . Which was the precise reason why I had taken a half day to tackle all my work . I reached home to be welcomed by Tango's excited barks . The dim lighting and the rustic setting welcomed me as we entered which gave way to a more modern setting as we moved inside with the dance floor crowded with people who were moving their bodies to the sync of the beats that the DJ played . Austin ordered our drinks while I settled on the stool watching the crowd , the music slowly melting my wound up mind . Austin handed me my drink and settled next to me . " You want to dance ? " At that very moment Austin's phone rang and Austin sighed looking at the caller ID . " It's work . I'll be back in a minute . " I nodded as I sipped my drink . I turned to look at piercing blue eyes that I had to admit were very attractive . A man in his late twenties smiled at me . He was undeniably handsome with tousled brown hair , chiseled jawline and an unhinging smile . I raised an eyebrow at him . The DJ played my favourite song and I couldn't help but lose myself in the energy of the room . I was having a blast . Suddenly Austin put his arms around me and pulled me closer to him in a tight grip , his muscles taught . I put my hand to his cheek and looked at him . " What h pened ? " " I thin m going to rip people's eyeballs out today . " I looked around and saw several guys looking towards us and rolled my eyes . " Ignore them , Austin . " He looked at me . " How can I ignore them when they are practically eye raping you from there . Let's leave before I end up hurting a lot of people . " He started to grab my hand and move but I pulled him back to me . " By the time we started to leave it was getting dark but it was a perfect night , the stars were shining like jewels in the night sky and Austin suggested we go out for a walk around the street just to relish the night . While walking hand in hand in hand with him I couldn't help but relish in the feeling of how complete I felt with him . I teased as he smiled and kissed me . There's a possessiveness about him tonight and I couldn't help but feel breathless at his touch , between kissing , he kept telling me how much he loved me and that he would never hurt me and that I was his forever .
