" Victoria , Jenny's four year old daughter repeated for the umpteenth time as she peered from the small window of the private jet , standing on the seat as she looked down at the tiny specks of land below . " We'll be there soon sweetie , why don't you go sit down and play with the others ? " Caroline , the ever patient grandmother assured as she gently lifted her off the seat and to the ground . Victoria pursed her lip in thought and nodded , her blonde ringlets bouncing as she skipped away to the back of the aisle to join the other kids who were currently engaged in some kind of role play . I looked around at the hustle and bustle and I couldn't help but smile . I loved how chaotic it was and yet how comfortable it felt . I loved it . " We landed and walked out to the warm Miami winter air . I smiled , peeling off my jacket at once . I loved the change in the weather . It was refreshing and I already was feeling myself loosening . " We walked out of the airport to be met by a petite woman with dark hair like Austin's and sparkling blue eyes . " Welcome family ! It's so great to see you bunch ! After getting checked in we spent the afternoon inside and in the evening we decided to go to a barbeque house s *** h club nearby for dinner . Even sulky Austin forgot he was kind of mad with me and we had a jam . All us girls tried out at the karaoke night and we sang " I will survive " by Gloria Gaynor . The guys went for a round of pool and spent the night laughing and joking over great food . I couldn't have ask for more , the night was perfect . After dinner , everybody retired to their own suites and Austin and I decided to take a stroll around the the night was young after all . resort , We walked hand in hand in the huge court yard under the starry sky walking along long palm trees that cast shadows on the ground we were walking on. He pulled me into his arms and kissed me back . His touch sent me into another high as our kiss deepened and I placed a hand on his chest and kissed him with a passion that even surprised me . We pulled apart because we both were breathless . I looked into his eyes and felt my heart swell when I saw how he was looking at me . Like I was the only girl in the world , like I was all he saw and I never felt more wanted than in that precise moment . I looked into his deep chocolate eyes and let my heart speak out . It was dark and it was just about to leave when I literally started chasing it . " Whoa whoa , where are you going ? " Austin asked trying to catch up with me . I pointed at the cart in the distance . " Cotton candy . " Austin looked at me with an incredulous look . " Are you serious ? " I narrowed my eyes at him . " Why would I be joking ? " Austin shook his head . " Why am I not surprised ? Only you would run after cotton candy at ten o clock at night . " I shrugged . " It's food , it doesn't really come with time limits . As I stood there , I saw a shadow of a person fall next to mine . I turned around , a dreary feeling building inside me . I looked around me and saw no one . Whose shadow was that ? " Hello ? " I called out . Silence . I felt my heartbeat accelerate . Was the darkness playing tricks with my mind ? Just as I was about to give up I saw a flash of movement . A person was moving away fast . Blonde hair . And for the briefest of seconds I caught a glance and I felt my heart stop . Ryan . And before I could blink , he was gone .
