Outside of the Ancient Ruins, the people of the security forces stationed in the hideout of the Transcendent Organization were in uproar, talking frantically about the strange phenomenon that had just occurred. "What the hell was that?! It looked as if all the stars were bleeding." "I hope it wasn’t anything serious." "The phenomenon lasted only for a minute, but I don’t think I will be able to forget it for the rest of my life." No one, regardless of level, could shake the unease settling over them and everyone struggled to make sense of what they had just witnessed. A short distance from the crowd, a deep hole descended into the underground section of the hideout, leading directly to the entrance of the Ancient Ruins. The tall black tower that had once stood above it had been destroyed by the security forces, and with the aid of earth power users, they had stabilized the passage to the underground area, allowing easy access to the ruins. Inside the underground area, several class-level warriors were stationed. Even though they were underground, they were still aware of the strange phenomenon that had just occurred and were discussing it among themselves. "Look, the news about it is already out," A level 23 class-level warrior said loudly, glancing at the holographic screen in front of him. The people stationed with him quickly gathered around, and the man tapped on his smart band, enlarging the screen to let them all see. "According to the news, it wasn’t just the area around our planet Fras or the Flato Solar System, but the entire territory of the Human Federation, and even other regions of Genesis, were affected by this strange phenomenon." Everyone who heard him was stunned and drew in a sharp breath of cold air. "Since it affected such a large area, could it be the birth of a powerful relic or something similar?" A level 21 class-level warrior asked. "The chances are very low. How big is Genesis? Even though relics are powerful, how could something affect the entire world?" "But what if it’s true?" "If it’s true, then go ask your mom to buy it for you," A level 25 class-rank warrior said, rolling his eyes. "Once you get it, don’t forget to take a picture and upload it online to show off." The others burst into laughter and nodded in agreement, while the person being mocked hurled curses at his companions. Just as they were talking— "Hmmm?" All of them suddenly sensed violent energy fluctuations emanating from the crimson rift, leading inside the Ancient Ruins. "What’s going on?" Ralph, the level 25 class-rank warrior frowned as he looked toward the entrance. The expressions of the other security forces shifted as well as they looked at the crimson rift that was shaking violently. "Did something happen inside the ruins?" The level 21 class-rank warrior muttered in a deep voice. As they looked at the entrance, the entire crimson-colored rift suddenly shook violently, and the energy fluctuations emanating from it intensified. The faces of all the security forces turned grave, and they instinctively stepped back from the rift. "Inform Captain Harin. Tell him that the entrance to the Ancient Ruins is collapsing," Ralph quickly shouted, his eyes filled with fear as he stared at the entrance. ’If the entrance collapses, all the people inside the ruins...’ Ralph felt a chill run down his spine and for a brief moment, he felt relieved that he had not entered the ruins along with the others. One of the personnel quickly called Captain Harin to inform him of the situation. "Captain Harin said he will be here in a minute," The man reported to Ralph, who nodded gravely. Just as they continued watching the shaking rift, which seemed as if it could collapse at any moment— A small booming sound echoed through the underground area, causing all the security personnel to flinch in fear. They quickly turned toward the source of the sound and saw that the space a few meters away from the rift had suddenly shattered, forming a human-sized space rift. "What the—" Ralph and the others were startled, but before they could react further, two figures emerged from the newly opened rift. Elyara and Azrael immediately sensed the presence of six class-level warriors the moment they stepped out of the rift, but instead of focusing on them, they quickly turned back. Just as they looked back, Luo Bingqing also leaped out of the rift, his face pale because of using most of his cosmic energy to keep them safe earlier. Seeing him emerge, both Elyara and Azrael finally felt a sense of relief. "Finally out of that damn place," Elyara muttered softly, a slight smile appearing on her face. Luo Bingqing and Azrael shared the same feeling and finally turned their attention toward the security forces. "You... who are you people?" Ralph and the others immediately assumed combat stances, the cosmic energy in their bodies flaring wildly. Luo Bingqing noticed that all of the personnel in the underground chamber were class-level warriors, so he spoke in a calm, relaxed voice. Read complete versıon only at 𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭•𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓮•𝘯𝘦𝘵 "Calm down. We are students of the Slayers Academy who accepted the mission to resolve the problem of the Transcendent Organization..." As he spoke, he took out his student ID card and showed it to them. Azrael and Elyara did the same and took out their student ID card. Ralph and the other security forces were taken aback when they heard Luo Bingqing’s words and examined the student card in their hands carefully. Azrael scanned all the people cautiously, trying to determine if they were planning anything hostile, but he did not notice anything unusual. ’It seems these people did not receive orders to capture us...’ He thought to himself and was about to lower his guard when, suddenly, his instincts screamed danger.... And before he could react, a yellow-haired man appeared out of nowhere in front of him, stabbing his chest with a pitch-black dagger.
