---- Chapter 23 Watching Matthew spit blood and look as if he were in extreme pain, Luna dropped the dagger to the ground as if she was suddenly triggered to her senses. She screamed at the blood on her hands, and the security guard at the bar entrance called the police. Soon, the police and ambulance arrived and took Luna and Matthew away. Matthew was taken to the emergency room, his life and death uncertain. Hearing the news, Amanda was so worried that she fainted. Henry was on a business trip out of town, so no one was around to take care of the mess. When Jenna received the call, she and Sebastian were discussing when to return to Malodia. Fortunately, he survived the operation, and his vital signs were stable after it. Although he woke up a little late, he was finally out of danger. After waking up, Matthew did nothing besides asking Amanda about Jenna at the beginning and learning that she had never visited him. Amanda was unbothered at first. It was normal for him to be listless after waking up from a serious injury. However, he was still the same way as time passed, and Amanda began to panic. "Matt, what's wrong with you?
