Chapter 15 The leaders decided Knockout would fight me - exactly like he'd thought they would , given none of us were certain whether the wolves would be willing to attack me Assuming I survived the fight with Knockout , I'd have to work hard to convince another wolf to shift back to his human form before my next fight . According to the jerk sharing my cage , the guys in charge wouldn't let me and Knockout fight each other every time . The wolves left the cages in pairs . None of them came back after their fights , and I grew more tense with each absence . My cage - buddy interrupted my thoughts . My heart hurt for the wolf , but I could see his chest rising and falling . He wasn't too bloody , either . The men separated me and Knockout . As the human led me around the cage , my eyes collided with a pair of beautiful , vibrant green ones in the stands . Disgustingly , hideously beautiful eyes . Asshole .
