+25 BONUS Chapter Twenty Five - Raina Fighting against Victoria felt great . She was a strong opponent and really had me working hard for my win . Thankfully I was fast because her hits were hard . I was still on my winning high when none other than Kimberly wanted to spar against me . Xander told me before she was a good fighter , her brother Darren being head warrior , but I wasn't worried . I was ready for a good challenge . " My name is Raina . " I told her for the second time . " Oh I'm sorry I keep forgetting ! " She could play dumb all she wanted but I knew the truth . She was calling me by the wrong name on purpose to make me feel insignificant . Too bad it wouldn't work . Kimberly turned her back to Xander and bent over , pretending like she was stretching . Little did she know , his eyes never once left me . He gave me a nod and I fueled that to give me the confidence I needed . I knew he wouldn't look at me any differently if I lost but this wasn't about him . This was about me and proving to myself I was strong enough . Kimberly went into a fighting stance and I mirrored her . She came at me fast and hard , throwing a punch straight to my face . I moved out of the way at the last second , hoping she would lose her footing at the momentum . She quickly regained herself and came at me again . This time she aimed a kick at my chest . I didn't move out of the way this time . Instead , I grabbed her foot right before it connected and pushed it upwards , throwing her up and onto her back . She hit the ground hard and I could hear the air leave her lungs . I gave her time to get up and could see she was getting pissed . She started throwing jab after jab at me , aiming wildly with no clear target in sight . The more I evaded her punches and returned with some of my own , the more frustrated she became . Her breathing was getting heavy and her punches harder . She managed to get a good one to the side of my face that had my mouth filling with blood . She followed with a kick to my chest that had me flying back . I used the momentum of me falling to turn it into a backflip , landing on my hands before finishing on my feet . I heard a hoot coming from Micah and flashed him a quick wink . Kimberly started her reckless punches and kicks again , becoming angrier the more I countered each attack . After one of her hits , I grabbed her arm and threw her over my body , letting her hit the ground again . This time she didn't try to get up . I thought she was going to forfeit when I heard a loud snarl come from her throat , fur starting to come from her body . The crazy bitch was shifting . Before me , Kimberly shifted into her honey colored wolf , snarling and snapping her teeth , golden eyes locked on my own . I heard Xander yelling at her from the sidelines , screaming at her to shift back . I turned his way and gave him a quick shake of my head , not wanting him to stop this fight . 1/2 Chapter Twenty Five - Raina +25 BONUS This wouldn't be my first time fighting a wolf in human form and it wouldn't be my last . I was ready . Kimberly's golden wolf charged at me , aiming to place her paws on my shoulders to knock me down . If she managed to get me pinned under her , I'd have no choice but to forfeit . Good thing I had no intentions of letting that happen . I let her wolf throw me back but I kept my feet bent under me . As her wolf landed on me , I used my feet and kicked her off , tossing her into the air , summoning a bit of wind to throw her even further . I could feel the scratch marks her claws left on my skin but the pain was the last thing on my mind . Blood ran down my arms but it only spurred me on more . Kimberly quickly found her footing and charged at me again . This time , I ran towards her and at the last second , fell to slide right underneath her . I ended up behind her and grabbed her tail , yanking her back . She quickly turned , snapping her teeth inches from my face . Knowing she would do that , I threw a punch to her snout , satisfied when I heard her nose break and blood pour from it . Blood for blood . I released her tail and took a few steps back . The blood was beginning to really pour from my wounds and I knew I needed to finish this fight and fast . Weather wouldn't be able to help me heal and I knew I was losing too much blood to be able to keep this up for much longer . With an idea in mind , I let Kimberly charge at me one last time . As she came at me full force , I flipped onto my hands before pushing with all my strength , summoning wind once again , and launched myself into the air and above her . I twisted at the last second , landing on her back so I was facing her front . I wrapped my arms around her neck and legs around her torso . She immediately fell and rolled on her back , pinning me beneath her large wolf but I refused to let go . She got another slash on my arm so I tightened my grip even more , cutting off her airways . I kept squeezing my legs together until I heard a crack and knew I broke a couple of her ribs . My muscles were screaming and just when I thought they'd give up on me , she finally conceded and fell limp . Pushing her off of me , I stumbled to my feet , taking a deep gulp of air . My legs felt like they were made of jelly and would have crumbled if it weren't for the strong arms that wrapped around me , helping me stay up . The blood loss was catching up to me now that all adrenaline had left my body , leaving me a wobbly mess . I could see black spots start to dance across my vision , threatening to suck me into a peaceful abyss . Xander scooped me into his arms , the tingles helping to keep my eyes open and locked on him though it was only a matter of time before I lost my fight with consciousness . " I don't know whether to punish or praise you right now . " I looked up at him and gave him a weak smile . " Can't punish the winner , Alpha . " That was the last thing I said before my world went black .
