Book Name :- One Piece : Cursed Crew ----------------------------- As the cyborg finished his sentence, Garp stood up and asked, "Since the son of the Pirate King has appeared, can my grandson be released?" Cyborg Kong shook his head. "We haven’t confirmed his identity yet. And even if we do, Fire Fist Ace still won’t be let go so easily. Don’t forget, he’s the captain of the Whitebeard Pirates’ second division." He looked at Garp with a mix of confusion and exasperation, as if to say, "What’s wrong with your family? Your son is a revolutionary, your oldest grandson is a pirate, and now your youngest grandson is about to become a Marine." Garp knew it wouldn’t be easy to save Ace, but he was hoping that if the "evil" Ace was confirmed to be the Pirate King’s son, the "good" Ace would at least not be executed. As long as the execution was postponed, he and Fleet Admiral Sengoku would have a chance to figure something out. Meanwhile, Ikki, completely unaware that all three Marine Admirals had been dispatched, was still live-streaming. The broadcast’s main purpose now was to choose companions from the sixth level of Impel Down to take with him. He first approached Crocodile. "Hey, Crocodile, what do you think? Become the new Pirate King’s little brother. Just agree, and I’ll let you out!" Crocodile remained silent, simply turning his head away in disdain. Ikki just smiled, then moved on to the Golden Lion Shiki. Shiki had his eyes closed, leaning against the wall, and didn’t acknowledge Ikki at all. It wasn’t that Shiki didn’t want to escape; he was a notorious pirate who had already broken out of Impel Down once. But ever since Garp had caught him, Shiki’s spirit had been broken. What was the point of escaping if Garp would just come and catch him again? Shiki believed that if anyone else escaped, Garp might not bother, but if he did, Garp would be the first one there, just for the fun of it. Ikki actually wanted to release Shiki. It would be great to have the legendary pirate as a sparring partner for his crew. But since the Golden Lion wasn’t interested, Ikki moved on to Douglas Bullet. Bullet burst into a wild laugh. "Kid, I don’t care if you’re Roger’s son or not. If you can beat me, I’ll go with you! But if you can’t, I’ll tear you to pieces, no matter who your father is!" His meaning was simple: let me out, and we’ll fight. "Alright," Ikki said. He used the key to open Bullet’s cell and removed a large number of Seastone shackles from his body. As soon as he was free, Bullet unleashed a wave of Conqueror’s Haki. "Hey! We can fight, but you’ll have to wait until we get out of Impel Down!" Ikki quickly stopped the eager Bullet. Bullet agreed, reined in his Haki, and stood off to the side, watching the show. The people watching the live broadcast were horrified when they saw Ikki release someone as terrifying as Bullet. "What in the world is this guy doing? Does he have any idea what the consequences are?" Fleet Admiral Sengoku slammed his fist on his desk, roaring. Garp, however, just picked his nose casually. "It’s just Bullet. If we have to, I’ll just go catch him myself. What are you getting so worked up about, Sengoku?" Sengoku stared at the indifferent Garp, speechless. He was on edge with every move Ikki made, terrified that the boy would do something irreversible. "Garp... why don’t you go down there too?" Sengoku said in a low voice. "There are too many legendary pirates on the sixth floor. I won’t feel at ease unless you’re there." With his old friend asking so politely, Garp couldn’t refuse. "Alright, I’ll take a trip!" he said. "It’s a good chance for the Golden Lion to escape, too!" On the sixth level, after seeing Ikki release Bullet, many pirates started getting restless. "Hey! I can join the new Pirate King’s crew, too! Let me out!" "Me too! I’m really strong!" Ikki smiled, then went to Avalo Pizarro’s cell. "How about it? Wanna come out?" The pirate grinned, "I’d love to!" Next, Ikki invited Catarina Devon, Sanjuan Wolf, and Vasco Shot, all of whom agreed immediately. These were the same pirates who would eventually join Blackbeard’s crew in the original story, and Ikki’s plan was to kill them later. Unlike Bullet, Ikki didn’t remove their Seastone handcuffs and shackles, which would make them easier to deal with. He also released a few other vicious-looking criminals. After all, if he was going to kill one, he might as well kill a whole bunch and reduce the pressure on Impel Down. The audience watching the live stream was terrified, especially those who knew the identities of these criminals. They were all infamous pirates imprisoned on the sixth level for their immense cruelty. The released criminals, aware they were on a broadcast, all approached the camera of the Den Den Mushi, putting on menacing expressions and shouting threats at anyone who had betrayed or arrested them. After letting a group of them out, Ikki returned to Crocodile. "I’m serious, Crocodile, are you really not coming out?" Crocodile looked at Ikki and said in a low voice only he could hear, "I don’t think any of these idiots will see the sun tomorrow." Crocodile’s words made Ikki laugh. "You’re right. You’re clever enough to steal a country, so I guess you’ve got a good head on your shoulders." "Compared to them," Crocodile said, gesturing at the arrogant criminals posturing for the camera, "my brain is definitely better." "So, do you want to come out? I promise, I won’t do anything to you." Ikki asked again. "You won’t do anything to me?" Crocodile replied. "Fine, you don’t even have to open my cell. Just unlock my Seastone handcuffs." "You’re cunning," Ikki said with a smile. He then tossed the key to Crocodile’s handcuffs to him. Crocodile caught the key but didn’t open them right away. He stared at Ikki and asked, "Tell me why you’re letting me out. If you don’t, I won’t go anywhere."
