Chapter 46 Lottie sat mulling over the information for a while. "Tell me about the visions again" she asked Naomi Naomi described the fire and seeing her brother's mate as well as the locked up Lilian. "Hmm" Lottie said with a deep thoughtful look on her face. "I need to do a ritual. Theon I will give you a list of ingredients, if you can get them then I will sit under the moon tonight and do a summoning and it should give me some clarity on what is happening." Theon nodded. He got up to get a pen and paper so she could make him a list. "Anything you need I will get it" He said, "We are just glad you are here and may be able to help." "I will need your help as well Naomi" she said "it will take both of our power to see as far as we need to. We should go rest and conserve our energy while Theon gathers what we needs" Naomi laughed. "I don't need to be told twice to take an afternoon nap. Let me show you your room." She picked up Lotties luggage and took her upstairs as Theon grabbed his keys and the list and headed out the door. Later that evening Naomi found herself waking suddenly. She didn't know how long she had been asleep but the room was dark. But she realised that her heart was hammering in her chest and the reason why she had woken was because she had heard a banging sound coming from downstairs. Chill, she told herself, probably Theon thumping around. Naomi decided it was best to get up and check it out. When she opened her bedroom door she realised the whole house was in darkness and the door to Lotti's room was still shut. That's when she heard another banging sound. This time her heart almost leapt out of her chest. Pulling her phone out of her pocket to use the torch she saw a message from Theon sent twenty minutes ago saying he was having trouble with one last ingredient and he's be another half hour or so. That's when Naomi realised it probably wasn't him downstairs, the house was too still and too dark for someone moving around normally. It felt like someone was trying to remain unseen and unheard, and not doing it very well, she thought. Creeping down the stairs Naomi couldn't see any light coming from any of the rooms or hear any noise until the bang came again. The sound was coming from the kitchen. Folling it Naomi found the back door was open and the noise was it banging against the frame, in the evening wind. First Naomi felt relief that there was no one there but then her blood went cold and she froze in place as she realised that this had been locked in the morning and no one had used it since to unlock it, so how was it open now? At that moment her phone vibrated in her hand. Naomi didn't realise how tense she was until it startled her so much she practically threw the phone across the room! Theon was calling. Answering it in a quiet voice immediately made Theon concerned. "The back door is open." She almost whispered. "I don't know if there is someone in the house of if they have left" "I'm almost there I was just calling to wake you up." He said trying to hide the worry in his voice. "Stay where you are. Where is Lottie?" "I think she's still Asleep" said Naomi "Go to her room and wake her up and stay in there together until I get home okay? And stay on the phone the whole time" Theon instructed her. Doing as she said Naomi went upstairs to wake up Lottie but when she tapped on the door there was no answer. After a few moments she opened the door to check on her friend. "Theon are you still there?" she asked "yeah of course" he reassured her "Lotties not here" Naomi's voice said in a slightly panicked tone
