In the middle of their fight against blood clones, the beasts were suddenly interrupted by four tall, horrible-looking creatures standing on their hind legs. The creatures had white eyes, teeth so long that they resembled ivory daggers, highlighting their carnivorous blood lust, and claws so sharp they’d pierce flesh as if it were nothing but butter. The luscious red flesh that glistened under the forest sun, with the exception of the golden and black beast, displayed a dangerous emotion. Their atrocious height, bulging muscles, and frightening faces scared the female beasts away. The male beasts, interrupted in the middle of their ritual, were now furious with the red, black, and golden beasts for scaring off the females. Out of rage, they swung their tails at the beasts but failed with grace. "Choose one out of the crowd and focus on it," Ace commanded, his monstrous voice booming with great magnitude. Cherry, Jim, and Anya surrounded one beast while Ace gained the attention of the other two, drawing them towards him and allowing the others to focus on only one. [Blood Drain Skill: Activated.] Now that his blood strength was strengthened, Ace did not have to worry as much about his Blood Drain skill. With his hands stretched out, the Blood Mutant could feel the blood moving inside the two beasts in front of him and started shifting it, changing its texture and fluidity until it seeped out through their pores. With half of their blood drained out of their bodies, the beasts grew lightheaded and felt faint. Their legs found it hard to keep them stable, and eventually, their movements became much slower than usual. The Blood Mutant, however, wasn’t done with them just yet. With one swipe of his hand, Ace slashed down as hard as he could using both beasts’ blood. The beasts had their heads cleanly taken off their bodies, killing them instantly. The remaining blood flowed out, and the Mutant gathered it into a Blood Mutant clone of himself. Following Ace’s instruction, they all stretched out their hands and started shifting the blood inside the beast’s body. At first, the creature deflected the Mutants one at a time. However, as time went on, its movements started to slow down. Its body became heavier and harder to control. Its muscles became nearly stiff, and soon, its blood started to thicken, causing its heart to overwork itself. Before they knew it, the beast let out its last breath and died, its entire body bloated to the point where just a little cut would cause it to gush out. "IT WORKED!!" Cherry cheered with great excitement. "Alright. We did it!!" "Good for all of you because now, each one of you is going to fight their own beast!!" Ace congratulated while pointing at over a dozen beasts running towards them. "Get ready." [The foot of the Mountain] [A couple of hours later.] According to One Horn’s advice and Lord Grania’s command, a special tent with a mattress was prepared for the human named Skyler, Lord Grania’s personal project. Since the woman did not possess Blood Mutant abilities, nor was she willing to learn them, the Granian Emperor decided to train her in the ways of Eneraflux, a skill possessed by the Granians that allowed them to control the continuous flow of energy in their bodies. For days, Lord Grania pushed Skyler beyond her limits and made her do many things, ranging from lifting heavy objects and fending off aura silhouettes to fighting a beast in order to eat. However, in all of this, the human was denied proper sleep and nourishment. Whenever she showed signs of exhaustion, the Granians would put her in a cylindrical container that acted more like a stimulant than a sleep remedy. Eventually, her body became too exhausted to keep up, forcing her to rebel against Grania. Ever since that happened, the Granian ordered for a tent to be pitched up just for her to rest under while a few other Granians prepared a proper meat-based meal for her consumption. "What’s that smell?" she asked, gently woken up from her sleep by the heavenly aroma. Sitting up on the bed she was on, Skyler gasped with delight as her hands moved back and forth on the fine pieces of cloth she was lying on. The tent she was under was beautifully made with dark gray materials, shielding her eyes from the bright sunshine outside. "Oh good, you have awakened," One Horn spoke, having noticed movements in her tent. "If you’ll follow me, I’ll take you to your first real meal, just as you asked." The meat, brazen brown with a wonderful aroma, nearly caused the woman to jump on it with delight and hunger. Her stomach started to roar the longer she looked at it, and her eyes opened so widely that they nearly seemed to fall off. "Is this from the beast I fought last night?" she asked, clearly surprised to see and smell good food. "It is," One Horn answered. "I believe on Earth you call that meat pork, yes?" "You’re damn right we do," Skyler quickly rushed to the table and started to feast. With no recognizable utensils available, she used the tips of her fingers to rip out flesh and stuffed her mouth without ceasing. The Granians watched in awe and shock, clearly taken aback by the human’s strange eating behavior. For someone as leanly shaped as Skyler, they did not expect her to consume so much food at once. "Eat till you’re full because after here, Lord Grania will return and begin your Eneraflux training. You’ve learned how to tap into it, so now’s the time to control and use it."
