Imagine a relentless symphony of agony, an orchestra of nerves playing discordant notes that reverberate through every fiber of your being. It’s a relentless storm, each lightning bolt of torment searing through your consciousness, shattering any semblance of tranquillity. Pain. Pain is a merciless tyrant, gripping one in its icy embrace, stripping away the veil of comfort, and plunging one into the abyss of suffering. It’s a tempest that knows no mercy, leaving one gasping for a reprieve, clawing at the walls of their sanity as they drown in its suffocating embrace. Pain, in its most dramatic portrayal, is the primal scream of the soul, a cocoon of anguish that echoes through the corridors of existence, demanding to be felt, demanding to be heard. Irrespective of age, gender, or status, pain is a phenomenon that every creature gets the opportunity to feel and embrace. Some feel pain physically, ranging from simple tiny portions to large bed-ridden state amounts. Others experience emotional pain, the second most painful of all pain forms in one’s opinion. The other is mental pain which ranges, a phenomenon that hasn’t been dealt with in this part of the galaxy. In the context of pain, picture one’s body being slammed on hard surfaces repeatedly while being ravaged by a raging, undying force that seeks to destroy your being. You have the power to cease that action, but your muscles, bones, tendons and ligaments, vital organs, and even your Soul scream in pain. Unbearable pain. Pain unlike anything you’ve ever faced, even thought of before. If it were to become a physical embodiment, one’s eyes would just melt upon looking at what this kind of pain felt like. [Your body is taking too much damage.] The Blood God, fighting a raging Ethisian, experienced new levels of pain he had never faced in a long time. Having not been in battle for hundreds of years, the Blood God made a return, fighting and killing many Ethisians so effortlessly that it was as easy as breathing for it. However, at this moment the Blood God was faced with another opponent who was at the same strength as he, or maybe even stronger. Having the title God came with power to support it, but this God did not have the body to back that strength up. In fact, the body it possessed wasn’t strong enough to exert itself to the point where all of its power could be exercised and executed. Nonetheless, he was still strong, strong enough to fight an Ethisian rumored to be as strong as the likes of One Horn, Grim, and Huntress. Despite being beaten, he was still standing...sadly at that moment, his body was inches deep inside a thick wall of dirt. "AUGHH!!" the Blood God coughed blood. Its body started to deteriorate and slowly slipped into the Blood Bishop’s control, even though the fight he so desperately desired had just begun. He attempted so many times to turn the tides of war in his favor, but his enemy did not let him. The female Ethisian, Enoris, understood the importance and danger that would befall her and Commander if the Blood God stood on its feet for even a second. That one moment, that one chance of it standing/regaining its footing could spell the end of her life and the one of her comrade. She wasn’t going to let that happen. Fighting till the end, with anger, rage, and hatred coursing through her veins which fueled her Eneraflux, she managed to keep the Blood God either airborne or grounded on his back, not on his feet. However, she could not keep this up forever. Eneraflux, though powerful with wonderful effects on one’s body, was not an easy thing to use and keep flowing at a constant motion. It took great will and strength to keep one’s Eneraflux running or else their body would become a new food source for the strange energy’s consumption and this was happening to Enoris. ’It’s happening,’ the Blood God, body stuck inside a wall, throbbing and dancing to the beat of pain, noticed a weakness in Enoris’ body. Her strength had dwindled, not so much that she couldn’t fight, but to the point where her punches lacked the sting they had before. She was losing her strength, all thanks to her overuse and overexertion of Eneraflux. This was bad, not just for Enoris but also for Commander who was still battling with the aching pain in his chest. Thankfully, the Blood God was gifted with a skill that they did not possess, instant regeneration. The pain that once engulfed its body was now no more. The Blood God’s body started to swell; swelling with strength, energy, and stature returning at full force. He still had time to hang around and beat the Ethisians before the Blood Bishop resumed control over his body. Until then, the Blood God chose to fight until that time came, and to make sure he enjoyed every moment of it, he chose to take it fast and quick while adding as much pain behind his attacks as possible. From the surfaces of his back grew extensions of Blood Tendrils which provided him with a little bit of blood for his rejuvenation. Looking around, he witnessed Commander struggling with his aching heart, a dilemma the Blood God was responsible for. Tensing his fist tighter, the Blood God intensified the pain in Commander’s chest and brought him even further to his knees, the pain became so chronic and intense that it was hard for the Ethisian to breathe. As for Enoris, she remained calm and still, her weary and exhausted eyes glaring bitterly at the Blood God. "Such strength," he spoke, his head hung with his eyes closed. Having his hands hanging by his sides, the Blood God remained calm and collected, acting a little bit more dramatic to add an effect. "your strength is incredible, nearly as equal as the ones who took my life." "You’re lucky I haven’t mastered this..." amid her speech, the Ethisian’s heart fell to the pits of her stomach as she and the Blood God glared at each other, their faces only at a lip’s distance away. The Blood God moved so quickly that she lacked the time to think and process what had just happened, let alone dodge in time. The crescent-shaped eyes of the Blood God and the almond-shaped eyes of the Ethisian observed each other with one having an unsettling bloodlust while the eyes of the other had surprise, fear, shock, and disbelief. "Your speed...is nothing compared to mine!!" one hand on her head and another on her chest, the Blood God used his own red energy to propel the Ethisian’s body backward, moving so quickly that she nearly lost consciousness. Now the tides had turned. The Ethisian’s Eneraflux had run out and now, the Blood God had decided to use his own, although it wasn’t in any way related to Eneraflux. Still, it was powerful enough to counter hers. All he needed was to regain his footing which had happened. Propelling her body backward repeatedly, without ceasing for one moment, the Blood God returned the favor tenfold, hitting Enoris with blows that had more strength behind them as the seconds passed. "Don’t bleed just yet," he said, rejuvenating Enoris just enough so she wouldn’t die. ’It would be unfair of you to give out on me yet I’ve just started having my fun, Ethisian!!" The Ethisian folded its arms and feet, curling its body into a little ball shape to keep her body from taking more damage from the Blood God’s hits. Using the scales on those parts of her body offered a little bit of protection, but it still wasn’t enough to save her from the Blood God’s wrath. At last, her body came to a standstill with the Blood God standing above her. She was too weak, too exhausted, and too badly beaten to stand. If the Blood God had felt pain earlier, she was facing the god-tier level of pain. It felt like hot iron rods were pierced into her body and used to crush all of her bones while liquid, hot metal filled her muscles, making them heavy and extremely painful but that wasn’t the worst bit of it. *STAB* *STAB* *STAB* *STAB* The Blood God, using his reinforced Blood Tendrils, penetrated the Ethisian’s shoulders, and her pelvis bones, just above her private area. Blood spilled out in moderate amounts as the Tendrils penetrated through her body and slowly wrapped themselves all over. Taking out her hands and legs was a strategic movement, for now, she wasn’t able to move, to fight or defend herself anymore. She was completely at the mercy of the Blood God who, at this point, had not even a drop of it left to spare. [The Blood God host’s time is nearing its end] ’Curse this body,’ not having the option to last longer, the Blood God started to execute one of his most painful skills, a favorite in his bocks--Blood Drain. Chapters fırst released on 𝓷𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓵•𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓮•𝓷𝓮𝓽 Separate from Ace’s Blood Drain, the Blood God’s drain worked the same way a person would drain a liquid out of a cloth, or a juicy fruit, by squeezing and wringing it dry until there was nothing left. "COMMANDER!!!" Tears, snot, and blood left Enoris’ body with a deeply pained scream echoing through the damaged remains of the mountain and throughout the flat lands. The Ethisian cried, her body being twisted with one side moving in a direction opposed to the other. Her bones broke instantly, like twigs in the hands of a giant. Her blood poured out in great volumes which were turned into more Blood Tendrils used to drain her body. She cried, bitterly, the pain causing her to scrunch horribly. The Blood God gave it one last squeeze and killed Enoris, bringing her sorry life to an end with her last words being a cry of help to her comrade. "Now, Ethisian, you will become my slave," he spoke, raising his hands to create a Conjured Blood Warrior from Enoris’ blood. Unlike Ace who conjured warriors from their bodies, the Blood God needed nothing but their blood and it didn’t matter if he killed it or not. "A perfect slave for the Blood Bishop."
