The proud, pompous Cyclitharan leader made a remark about how the Granians handled and treated their wildlife compared to how he and his species did so. In a not-so-subtle form of ridicule, the alien scoffed at how the Granians tortured and killed the beasts for their meat, bones, hides, and crystals, or even subjected them to manual labor. This remark, of course, made them appear as beings who honored and respected the lives of their animals and showed the Granians and Human that unlike them, they preferred to let their wild animals have peaceful lives in their habitats without their intervention. Now interestingly, the same Cyclitharan leader who made such a crude remark was now seated inside a massive Colosseum amphitheater while telling the Granians what he had planned for the Crimson Knight’s exhibition. At that exact moment, one of the many gates started to open quickly with the arches of the doors splitting apart to make way for something large that was coming through. As this leviathan of a creature made its way to the field, those who were in the Colosseum and the surrounding area felt the ground tremble and shake with each step this large creature made. What made matters worse was that the only person on the field, Cherry, could feel a powerful force moving alongside this unknown beast that was steadily walking toward her. "I thought you said you didn’t do anything to harm the wildlife on your planet?" Grim, becoming a little bit worried for the Blood Mutant, questioned the contradictory words the Grand Duke uttered not too long ago. "Yes, I did." The Grand Duke replied and then laughed. "But I didn’t say anything about the beasts we bring from our colonies. Oh look, there it is." From where Grim, Lord Gravax, Grand Duke, Lilly, Atris, and the rest of the present Cyclitharans stood appeared a monstrous set of long, jagged, barbed spikes and spines moving in an up-and-down motion, the same way sharks in movies move in an out of the water with their fins protruding repeatedly. Following the spines was a long, beefy tail that was the length of five school buses and as thick as the gates themselves. Seeing these features pushed the three Granians to inch closer and that’s when they saw it. One of the largest quadrupedal beasts they had ever seen. This creature’s sheer size, weight, girth, and power were unbelievably astounding and its features did nothing more but add more depth to its strength. The creature’s thick, scaly skin was teal blue with red, uneven spots scattered all over. Its legs, somewhat short and stubby, were decorated with thick claws at the end of its four toes. Its upper, middle, and lower body were roughly the same thickness with the exception of its back which was massively humped. Its head was the most interestingly shaped feature. From its neck upwards, nothing but bone-like protrusions were piercing through its skin. These protrusions were intertwined together, giving themselves a somewhat net-like look. Then, from the protrusions onward was nothing but a thick bone plate covering the entire beast’s shoe-shaped head. The bone plate looked like a helmet with only holes for its eyes and nostrils. Its mouth, almost large enough to swallow its own head, had two lines running along the top and bottom, meaning that this creature could separate its jaws into a flower-like shape. ’A giant...frilled lizard?’ Cherry, who moved back as the beast inched closer, couldn’t help but point out the similarities this creature shared with the tiny creators on Earth. They shared a striking resemblance and this led the young woman to wonder whether other creatures shared biological similarities with what she had on Earth. ’Well...these things look like us so...do their creatures also look like ours?’ While still in thought, the beast raised its head and shook the thick, fatty flaps of flesh dangling from its neck. The flaps started to vibrate, followed by a booming, guttural roar forming from the base of its chest. The creature’s roar sounded like giant bongos being banged repeatedly inside its throat. The roar was loud and resonated across the field. Its volume was so great that the sand on the field bounced up and down, the same way sand or any grainy substance behaved whenever placed on an activated boom box/speaker. This booming sound not only shook the ground but also resonated through Cherry’s body. her bones felt as though someone were beating on them like drum sets. Her skin felt uneasy, itchy, and sore, and her muscles felt like they were being pounded and tenderized. The creature lowered its tail and turned its head at an awkward angle to allow its one eye to look at what was standing before it. ’Did that thing just sigh?’ everyone, apart from the Grand Duke and Atris, wondered the same thing about the beast’s reaction. It was strange seeing a wild creature show intelligence, especially one with such a colossal build. As for Cherry, she felt a rush of emotions rocking her body with a mix of anticipation, anxiety, and bloodlust starting to overwhelm her. The young woman reminisced about the time she and the other Mutants fought and killed giant worm-like creatures on Planet Grania. Back then, she trembled at the sheer size of the worms which were even bigger than the beast before her. However, this time she didn’t feel anything close to fear. In fact, she became excited, looking forward to what she could do to it and how quickly it could be dealt with. As for the beast, it sighed and shook its head while stretching its head as high as it could. The being standing before it didn’t look worth its time so instead of just crushing it or entertaining it, the beast raised the flaps of flesh around its neck, giving it a flower-like shape around its neck while its throat vibrated once again in preparation for a powerful roar. "I SUGGEST, HUMAN," Grand Duke spoke and Lilly translated, "THAT YOU KILL THAT THING BEFORE IT ROARS AT YOU. YOU’LL HAVE YOUR SKIN SHREDDED OFF YOUR BODY. BEGIN!!!!"
