"Death won’t save you this time, not yet." The Blood Spike imploded into a lake of blood, filling the crater the High Grade’s crushing impact created earlier. At the same time, her body fell into the small blood pool as the Blood Mutant stood over her. Suddenly, the pool started glowing a bright red with a warm, healing, tingling sensation taking over the High Grade’s body. She didn’t believe what was happening but...her body was... ’Healing!!’ her eyes shot open with life returning to her. Her once shattered and shredded internal organs restructured themselves with her lost blood returning to her body. The large, gaping hole within started to close, and the blood in her lungs and mouth dried out, returning her body to its former state. Once more, all the wounds the Blood Bishop inflicted earlier healed completely, almost as though they didn’t exist in the first place. She was back to life, or rather, snatched from death’s cold but relieving embrace. "You thought I was done with you?" Ace questioned as he grabbed the High Grade by her head with an unbreakable grip. "You’ve survived dying, the rest of your kind won’t. With the High Grade in his hand, Ace started to run as fast as his body could. At a blinding speed, the Blood Bishop ran through the battlefield as he used the High Grade’s body like a battering ram. Every Ethisian he came across was slammed and ripped apart by the overwhelming force of the High Grade’s body bursting them apart. First, it was one, then five, then twenty, then one hundred, and then some. Each body the High Grade’s body burst through left bits of it sticking to her blood-stained scales, reducing her to tears. The tears, however, were not from the pain she was enduring. No, instead it was from the sorrow she felt for her people. All these Ethisians were suffering because of her and her cockiness. They had to pay because she didn’t end the Blood Bishop as she was told to do. ’My people, I’m sorry.’ She cried crocodile tears as her own body started to tear from the overwhelming force and speed of the Blood Bishop. To make matters worse, he was still running and ramming her body through countless bodies until eventually... "ENOUGH!!" she cried as blood poured from her midsection. The Blood Bishop stopped in his tracks and observed the trail of blood leading back to the High Grade’s lower body which was cleanly torn from her upper body. Blood continued to pour quickly and in any second, the High Grade was finally going to meet death, something she desired more than anything else in the universe. "PLEASE," she cried from the pain she suffered and the torment she had put her victims through, "JUST LET ME DIE ALREADY. PLEASE, LET ME DIE." "Nonsense," Ace laughed with two voices coming from his mouth, "that’ll be too easy." With one mighty lunge, Ace threw the High Grade back into the blood pool a great distance away. Her lower body followed afterward, followed by himself. While the Blood Bishop stood over the High Grade, she hurriedly shoved her fingers in her guts and began to pull everything out. She had had enough. This was torture and the only way for her out was through death. ’If he gets here, he’ll revive me and bring me back. I can’t take any more of this.’ Elyssara pulled and pulled on her own guts, waiting desperately for death to snatch her away from her torment. But nothing happened. "Why isn’t it working?" she cried as she lifted her weary head to look at her missing torso...which had already reattached itself to her body. "As I said, death will be too merciful for you." Ace laughed and then grabbed the High Grade by her neck using his tendrils. This time, however, he didn’t run with her in his hands or thrust her body into a giant Blood Spike. Instead, he took to the skies with her in his grasp, placing them both at a high altitude. The very blood pool beneath them departed and attached itself to Ace’s back, creating a makeshift pair of Blood Wings that carried Ace’s body to the sky. Once high enough, he and the High Grade looked down on the fleeing soldiers who looked like ants cowering from their prey. "Look at this, this pitiful sight," he said with a smile etched on his monstrous face, "you Ethisians...you’re so proud and confident when it comes to your army. You all think you’re superior to every other race. "And then there’s these damned Granians who share the same mindset as you. One thinks they’re mightier than the other. You all think the universe belongs to you. It’s all too much chaos and disorganization. Get full chapters from 𝔫𝔬𝔳𝔢𝔩⚫𝔣𝔦𝔯𝔢⚫𝔫𝔢𝔱 "You two races think you’re better than the other. You rely on your large bodies and the Granians rely on their little toys. It’s all a joke to me, nothing but an imitation of true power. Look at them, look at how you two races have dropped your weapons because you flee for your lives...and yet a few minutes ago you wanted to take them. How pitiful." The Blood Bishop raised his hand and then folded his fingers in a disfigured manner. However, before he did anything, the High Grade held onto his tendril and pleaded saying; "Wait!! Please, let them go. It’s me who came after you, not them. You can kill and revive me as many times as you want, just leave them out of it. I beg you. I permit you to do whatever you want to me. Just spare them. Please, spare them." "Your permission?" the Blood Bishop laughs. The multitude of his voices sent sharp, painful shivers down the High Grade’s body as she felt her blood curdle in true terror. "I don’t need your permission to do what I please. And you do not give me orders, mortal. Now, watch as I make them suffer for your sake."
